About Us

Our Story

At The Screaming Parrots Café, our story is inseparable from Lexi.

During the earliest days of recipe development Lexi was always there. Perched on our shoulders watching closely hopping from arm to counter with fearless curiosity. Every test batch every adjustment every late night experiment he observed with bright focused eyes. Sometimes he tried to steal a bite leaning in at just the right moment as if he had personally approved the recipe and wanted first rights. His presence turned long development days into moments of laughter warmth and connection.

Lexi is deeply attached to the owner following from room to room resting on shoulders and refusing to be far away. That bond shaped the rhythm of our work. Development was never rushed. It moved at a pace that allowed patience care and joy to exist together. Lexi reminded us to slow down to stay present and to enjoy the process not just the result.

He loves the outdoors sunlight fresh air and movement. Many ideas were refined while doors were open light pouring in and Lexi soaking up the world around him. That love for openness freedom and calm found its way into our food and our space. Nothing is heavy nothing is forced everything is meant to feel natural and alive.

As we developed our menu over more than two years Lexi became part of every milestone. From refining Basque cheesecake to shaping the balance of onigiri perfecting crepes and building drinks that feel clean elegant and safe even for a curious parrot watching from above. His habit of drinking safe beverages from to go cups became symbolic. Thoughtful choices careful ingredients and respect for what we serve and who we serve it to.

Lexi inspired our logo not as a mascot but as a reflection of spirit. Curious playful loyal and unforgettable. He is also the reason parrots will be part of our future locations representing connection joy and life beyond the plate.

This cafe was not built in isolation. It was built with companionship patience and heart.

Lexi did not just watch us create this place. He helped shape it.

Inspired by parrots crafted with intention and guided by love curiosity and time.
